Re: Rogue One -- Thoughts --- possible spoilers

There were a few scenes where I was like "ok, I get it move on, new scene" but that's pretty typical for me whenever I see a movie there's some extra footage I could do without. And there is a reveal near the end that looked cartoonish to me -flat, 2 dimensional, little depth - thankfully short but ...

I plan to skip this flick until it's available on one of the movie channels on cable.

Variety reporting Orci out as director of ST3

Also saw a rumor elsewhere that one of the things the next film was going to do was reset (via time travel) things so Vulcan is saved from total destruction... & that things have been shut down temporarily until I guess they get a new director.

I liked District 9, and I liked Elysium but not as much as District 9.

I look forward to this movie.

Re: Trailer: Mad Max:Fury Road

Meh... imo, Mad Max was low budget fun I enjoyed; Road Warrior was a bigger budget film that rocked, and Thunderdome was a better Tina Turner song than movie. I don't need this, anyone than I need a remake of Blade Runner starring Ben Affleck as Decker (I don't. I was actually going to say 'Matt Dam...

Re: Talk to me about Thor as a woman

I haven't bought a comic book in probably 10 years or more. I do enjoy the movies. Having a hard time imagining them selling that storyline to people familiar with Thor & Dark World Thor. They might have to introduce Beta Ray Bill in a movie first and at least prime the movie going public with the n...

Re: Sorry JJTrek Fans...

I noticed significantly less lens flares in Into Darkness. Of course, that might just have been because I was distracted by Benedict Cumberbadass. Well after all it wasn't called Star Trek Into Lens Flare (so there should have been less lens flare - the title was probably intentional whether many *...

Superman. he can rule the world and he's not even tempted....he doesn't care to. that's awesome. You make him sound like a slacker lol. "I could rule the world... really I could. I'm not boasting. No false bravado. I could literally rule the world. But I don't care to... I got my tv, Family Feud is...

Re: It "ain't heavy" anymore?

Would the health benefits, which are debated even today, be applicable with the availability of 24th century medicine? No. And (I'm straying a bit off topic here) in the 24th Century I suspect certain food prep, food handling, and food storage requirements will be such that things like shelf life a...
