i cant tell them apart from the goonies or gnomes. Wha? Personally I think Gomer was smarter, if only because he went on to do other things. Goob and Gome can both change the oil in Andy's cruiser but can Goob field strip an M16 like Gomer? I doubt it. However... Forest Gump was able to do t...

And Jed, it is definitely the lighting in those pictures. Or shadows, I suppose, considering I was flying around in an asteroid belt, where there were shadows aplenty. Hope to get more pics soon. I already have a few dozen of my characters taken in the tailor shop (i.e. character creator) that I ne...

SWG Screenshots

I was recently forced to reactivate my Star Wars Galaxies account. While I absolutely loved the game years ago I now find it extreamly outdated and a little boring. I guess any game would be when you've done everything you possibly can in the game. But I thought I'd share a few screens anyway. I'm s...

It's probably the lighting, but the last two look like your ship is covered in rust. It popped an image in my head of your poor crew being stranded in some remote part of the galaxy for a few decades. :)

If you ever want to just take some portrait shots or something, try cranking your graphics all the way up. It may make the game unplayable but it won't matter too much since you won't be running around or anything.

Sharing your stuff isn't a requirement or anything. Usually the higher level guys, like my main, are so rich they can afford to just dump gear they don't need in the fleet bank and the lower level members who actually need good gear can go in and take what they want. You can do the same thing by jus...

What I was saying is that when you're in a fleet it's kind of like being in a club. You'll have friends on and playing at the same time (usually) so you can team up for difficult missions, or get groups together for PVP rather than having to group with strangers. There's a fleet uniform that you can...

J, Cam asked me tonight if I would be interested in starting a fleet. She's still new and learning the game and I'm not much for being the boss. I prefer to stay behind the scenes.

So if you wanted to start one we'd probably join up.

Having started over, both so I could help Cam get used to the game and because I wanted to start a new career as an Engineering Officer, I decided to go with the Constitution class. It was a free gift for buying the collectors edition of the game. Slightly more durable than the starting light cruise...

I don't find them to be quite as cartoony as WoW but no where near as fancy as say... Aion. Running at the highest settings my character can spread his fingers apart. They're not clumped together in a fleshy mit.

Cruisers all the way, baby... Now that I'm capped at Admiral 5 and have done every possible mission I'm thinking of starting a new character. This time an Engineering Officer and I'll go up the line of cruisers. I really do prefer the cruisers but my first time through I wanted to do massive damage...
