Fan Project- Pacific 201

It's a fan project but damn... I love the way the ship feels ... and it gives me hope that something can wash the taste of discovery out of my mouth.

Re: Views on Voyager

Umm... the first option is misleading... very few characters if any actually developed from season to season. For example... aside from the hair... I can't tell the difference between season 1 janeway and season 7 janeway. Can you?

Re: Star Wars vs Star Trek - A quick look by me

So as to the Light speed portion... they use light speed and hyperspace pretty interchangeably from what I've gathered. I mean unless planets in Star Wars are really tightly packed together ... the Millienuim falcon should have taken longer than the what? In universe lets say 3 hours it took to get ...

Trill Spots on a Bald Trill

So... some of you know I'm working on this Warhol like approach to doing a mass production... and I'm approaching the trill aspect of it... my question is where to the spots stop if there is no hair line to match them against.

I was looking to see if this topic had been covered yet and I couldn't find it... so I'll post this video and I'll ask the question what do people think?

Re: Big Phaser Question

Busting a planet sure... Vaporizing a planet so that there is no clean up or fallout... not so much... not to mention the size the explosion if you were to every set such a gun to overload. :w:

Re: Big Phaser Question

Yea but I'm thinking more along the lines that you have proof of concept that the weapon works and scaling it up increases results why hasn't someone just built a bigger gun in the alpha quadrant rather than a more advanced weapon based off different technology.

Big Phaser Question

If a handheld phaser can vaporize a person... and ship phasers can vaporize a building... How big a phaser would you need to vaporize a planet... or say the moon?

Nanoprobes at the moment to have limitations. They can't be spread like an airborne virus (Voyager episode). But that's WAY off topic. Guys focus back to the topic of percieving as a pile of goo. Go Go!

Alright late to the discussion... but I thought I'd share my thoughts. I'm going to generalize it under tiny support craft so this covers fighters and bombers because I really don't feel like going through the differences. Even though I say fighters, I mean those kind of craft in general. Fighters w...

Changeling Biology

How do Changelings see... smell... hear... in essence sense anything? When their in their natural form they're just a pile of goo, no ears, no eyes, no nose, no tongue. How do they perceive the world around them? Anyone know or have theories?

Unlikely, maybe its a genetic defect. I mean we know that Vulcan and Romulans were essentially same speicies at one point. Vulcans embraced logic as a way of dealing with their barbaric tendencies where as Romulans did not, left the planet in only a handful of ships with only a few thousand. Since R...
