Re: Too powerful?

Thanks Dancyer. And thanks everyone else for derailing my thread ::OT:: Getting back on topic, this was the whole point of my thread, to get your opinions on a Prometheus class fitted with three cloaking devices, and I appreciate you all voicing your opinions on the idea. When the Prometheus first a...

Re: Too powerful?

I never knew the original premise called for the Prometheus to split into 5 sections, I'm glad they stuck with 3. With regards to the STO version of the ship, whichever section the player is actually controlling, the other two automatically attack your current target, and if any section's hull integ...

Re: Too powerful?

Apology accepted Triton. You've raised some very good points :) This information is taken directly from the Memory Alpha wiki. In the episode, the dorsal and ventral sections can be controlled by a crew, or automated and attack whi...

Re: Too powerful?

Thanks for your comments and opinions gentlemen, (and Triton, it's Abrin Gos, not Gros). I'll admit that the design has alot of flaws and issues, but that wasn't the point of my question. Leaving all the bad points about the class aside, would the installation of cloaking devices on each section giv...

Too powerful?

My cousin and I were discussing this a couple of days ago, when I was showing him the Prometheus class in Star Trek Online. A recent upgrade for the class now allows you to use the Multi Vector Assault Mode, as seen in the Voyager episode Message in a Bottle. We were both impressed with how cool it ...

Re: Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Caped Crusader

In my opinion, the best example of how Batman could take down not only Kal and Diana, but the Justice League at the time the comic was printed.

Captain America (Steve Rogers), then Thor, especially when voiced by John Rhys Davies.
