Re: Who is your favorite character from Babylon 5?

It'd be a tough decision between G'Kar or Ivanova. Possibly Marcus, but only through Ivanova. Could you clarify precisely what you mean by that last? :-k His interactions with Ivanova was endearing. I found his character compelling, a Ranger trained to fight and deal with all sorts of situations, b...

Hey yeah, he would. Good choice :)

I always he played Oscar in Stingers better than Mike Flynn in Sea Patrol. But he's a good actor and would likely do Riker justice.

Re: TNG of the Noughties

I would consider Morena Baccarin for Deanna Troi. Even if Morena is an established SciFi actor (Firefly, Stargate, V). Something I just thought of would be to have the guy that plays Kurt from Glee to play Wesley. And make Wesley gay. That'd be all sorts of awesome to explore. Part of me wants to su...

Re: TNG of the Noughties

Well, if you cast your fanfic or fantasy remake of TNG solely with actors who's major claim to fame is their prominent starring role in a recent scifi series, then you might be rightly accused of lack of imagination and originality. But, if you are casting for such a fan/fic/remake of TNG, then you...

Re: Re:

Hmm... I strongly resist the notion of using any Stargate people. People do tend to lust after throwing Star Gate people into Star Trek, huh? Though I'm hardly the one to throw stones in this case... :P A decent actor is a decent actor. Doesn't matter what else they've been in, as long as they do t...

I'm writing a regular article at my RP groups's only newsletter, called STO Logs. Based (loosely) on my exploits in Star Trek Online.

It's entirely possible that you say ass like I say arse ... dialects and accents and all that. Oh, that's definitely it. I'm just bustin' your chops—though, kidding aside, I do think "arse" sounds effete. I'd probably laugh at someone who used it with me ... and, of course, proceed to kick their .....

I love the internet, in that it allows people to publicly exercise their fundamental right to be laughably wrong—as you yourself just did. Must come from being upside down all the time like that. Either that, or Australian televsion rots your brain even more than American televisio...

Gee, thanks. Think "Western Australia" might have tipped me off? I was jokingly referring to the fact that, audially speaking, "kicking ass" simply sounds more visceral than "kicking arse" does. The latter sounds like one's effete 135 pound English butler threatening to whup you. 8) Kicking ...
