I managed to see the first episode, almost by chance since I'm NOT in the U.K.... I'm hoping that chance remains my friend. *s*

I was expecting it to be terrible, but it was'nt. Especially liked the new take on 'a three pipe problem'. Missed the 2nd episode as I was in a field at a music festival.

Watched the pilot online, it was great! I love that they got Watson right and he's not a bumbling nincompoop but actually quite intelligent and capable. And Holmes was awesome!

"Shut up."
"I didn't say anything."
"You were thinking. It's annoying."

And I was expecting Mycroft to be Moriarty, I just about fainted when Sherlock said "Hello, Mycroft." That was awesome!

Great show, I'll definitely watch more.

I already like him better than Downey in the role.

I loved Watson's reaction to finding out he wasn't an evil overlord criminal mastermind but rather 'one of the good guys'.

Sherlock Holmes in modern London. This is a definite must-see for me.
