Anyone interested in an Andromeda RPG?

Post by CaptainKirkFan » Wed Oct 03, 2007 9:57 pm

Hiya, I didn't know if I should have put this here or in the Trek RPG board. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining an Andromeda RPG if I started one?

I'm thinking about setting it aboard another Glorious Heritage vessel during the conflict with the Magog, or we could go even farther back if y'all prefer.

In two words, not really. Andromeda has some positive stuff, but on the whole it devolved into what was just a Kevin Sorbo gun-fest. I personally love the idea of a ship AI with personality, and enjoy the concept of an interstellar empire not ruled by humans, but it had so many flaws in it...

I would appreciate it if anyone not interested in this idea not post here. This is a thread to discuss the possibility of forming an RPG, not debate the pros and cons of the show.

Is anyone interested? I've got a website now and we're playing a filler mission to give people time to join before we start our first "real" mission. Website url is: http://vince.ardfamilyco-op.net/idesofmarch

Bump. I closed this game down a year ago due to time constraints, but I've reopened it due to a new player contacting me and encouraging me to give it a second try. Here is the new website (I could never get SMS to work right for me:) http://vince.ardfamilyco-op.net/idesofmarchindex.html

Also, this is not an RPG of the show. It's set before the show in the old Commonwealth, with completely original characters and storyline.
