Some Casting Help

Post by Craz » Sat Oct 06, 2007 6:39 pm

I currently run a small time urban fantasy RPG, and I'm trying to introduce a new character; Patrick Downey, an Irish demon hunter(for lack of a better title). I'm looking for an actor(preferably somewhere in their 20's) with either dark or red hair to portray him. If anyone has any suggestions, just plop them here.

I'm thinking maybe someone along intenser lines. A younger kind of John Barrowman might be nice, if one existed.

You;re looking for a red-haired hunter of Irish demons...

Here is a website with a whole bunch of actors in their 20's (I think they are all sons of actors).

There is alwys the standby Colin Farrel.

Well, I'm definitely not looking for a guy in uniform(the RPG is set in 2008 London), more for just suggestions on actor choices. :)

I like the pics of Colin, but I'd put him in an Elite Force ("Marine Green" or Red) varient uniform with the same weapon-in-hand idea & a "you-must-be-frakkin'-kiddin'-me,-Mate." or "Heeeeeere kitty, kitty, kitty." look on his face but I'd have him gnawing on a Havana cigar & holding a Voyager issue phaser rifle.

Jonathan Rhys Myers is the only really incredibly good intense actor I can think of that has the features you're looking for. And on the plus side...he was born in Ireland!

And he does a darn good job playing a British Monarch. I think he would be a good choice as well.

Sean Patrick Flannery is always a good bet.
