I would consider it ... and, most likely, decline.

Maybe instead of doing a rpg with a GM we should consider doing a RPG with a TOYOTA?

How about an Airport '77 RPG? I could play Sarge, chomping on his cigar and raising his collar against the bitter, cold wind as he's asked to go de-ice the wings of that 727 sitting on Runway 4L... again...

"Why they can't wait for the pilot to sober up at the gate is beyond me," Sarge grumbled.

(Somebody play the Chief in the control tower)

Sarge climbed into his Suburban. As he fired the V8 up, the wipers cleared a thin sheet of ice off the windshield and Sarge looked through it in disbelief. He grabbed his radio and squawked to the Tower.

"Hey, anybody up there? You seeing what I'm seeing? Does that look like a Klingon Bird of Prey hovering over Runway 4L? Hello? Tower? Tower? Anybody up there?"
"THERE IS NO SANCTUARY!"

I was referring to time constraints, and nothing more.

Not to sound opportunistic or anything, but since Joe will be too busy to GM this game, y'all are more than welcome to join my RPG: the USS Valiant

So... is there someone who'd be interested in GMing a game? Since Joe's gone, I'm assuming his Distant Realm idea is off the table... I could help in the development stage, if wanted, but I'm not GM material, at least for this type of game.
...the wisdom to discover the right, the will to choose it, and the strength to make it endure...

Actually, I don't think I should take on another game as GM right now (I'm already running two.) Just wanted to let y'all now that I did have an RPG already if any of you wanted to join.

Frankly, I don't see why you guys couldn't develop it for RPG purposes. Just file off "Distant Realm" and call it something like "Far Frontier."

How about STFU?

That, of course, stands for Star Trek: Frontiers Unknown

I told you that copy of Shakti Gawain's Creative Visualization would come in handy. 8)

Well, in all seriousness, the name Farther Shores comes to mind...

Hmm ... the pluralization doesn't work, but it or a variant has potential.
