Now that's saying something in today's world. :D I happen to be the offspring of parents who decided to put their careers ahead of intercourse(43+). I must say, I'm glad they did. I had a wonderful life with them.

Welcome to the forum, Katana!

My dad had 8 sisters, and a brother, my mother the oldest of 14 kids.

I am the oldest of 4 boys born in a 5 year span and have a younger sister, as well yet for such big families only one of my brothers has a child, so you can guess how spoiled that niece of ours is

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Glad to see the topic flow into the promiscuity of parents, or lack thereof. :P

Like I said, it's been about a decade since I did anything fandom related, but as I get back into it I'll try to post it here. (hopefully for your enjoyment, but in lieu of that your abject horror will do)

Current circumstances have left me without internet (except my phone) but once I get a workaround going I'll see about posting some of my past works and (as I try to relearn everything) my works in progress.

Hello to all you guys and gals out there :)

I guess I'm one of those classic readers in a board like this, mostly signed up to grab some ideas and admire the work. But here we go:

I'm Hilmar, 28 (almost 29) years young and I'm from Germany (believe it or not ;) ) I've been part of a German Star Trek mIRC RPG for nearly 8 years now, and joined 2 others in the meantime. I've started watching Star Trek way before that, with TNG to be exact. When DS9 and Voyager came along on German TV, Star Trek already had me won over completely. Eventually I even started building Star Trek Model kits (including a foot-long model of the USS Defiant, a Danube Runabout and a rare 1:48 Typ9/Class2 shuttlecraft).

Soon after that I started working on character pictures. The RPG I was with had sort of it's own artist, but somehow I was never really too happy with the outcome of his manipulations, so I started doing my own. And I guess this is how I ended up here ;) Seeing all those wonderful creations here really gets my mojo going when it comes to improving my skills with Photoshop

Cheers, and all the best from Germany

Hello again!

Thought I'd re-introduce myself, since I haven't been active on the board in years. I'm also GMDreia over at Trekbbs.com. I dropped out of being actively involved after I went back to school, but I since finished, and am re-joining the fray :)

I'm Dreia, 40, live in California, work in web and graphics. Nice to meet all of you.

Yeah, I just now found this, so I'll celebrate being late to the party instead. :D

I'm Paul, a 51 yr old freelance graphic designer working primarily for the defense and education industries.

I have one child who lives in heaven; a gf who is everything to me, and her daughter whom I love completely and I've helped to raise.

I'm a cancer survivor; don't eat red meat; love ice cream but it doesn't love me back. :(
When I'm not doing Photoshop manips like the rest of you good people, I'm usually fishing or drawing.
I've personally met several celebrities just by chance over the years... Richard Pryor, Kevin Costner, Greer Garson, and Jack White
I had an opportunity to go to a Hollywood party once, where I saw Patricia Richardson completely faced!
Clearly one too many drinks for that "Home Improvement" mom.

I know I've done this before, but it's been nearly 2 years since I last was around. Things have been tumultuous, tragic, time consuming, tempestuous, and a number of other words that may or may not begin with T.

So I'm back. And hopefully Star Trek : Endeavour is returning with me now that I have some time to actually write and enjoy myself.

So Hi. How have you been?

Technically, Endeavor never left, because I've written about 2,000 words on it in the time you were gone.

Welcome back.
"The angel of the Lord appeared to them ... and they were struck with great fear. 'Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy ... today in the city of David a savior has been born. And this will be a sign ... you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.'”
