Boy, you and lafr are locked in mortal combat, Michael.

Remaining unanswered questions:

For three points, how many planets are named for Jonathan Archer? For an extra five points, list all of them here.

For four points, most Niners are familiar with vedek and kai as Bajoran religious titles, but the series on occasion mentioned a third, which is _____.

T'Pol mentions her age in an episode of Enterprise. For five points, how old is she at that time?

I was watching an ad for the movie Miami Vice which reminded me of an item that was for sale during the run of the TV show that allows one to cut one's stubble to a specifi length that made it look like one of the goobers on the show.

It was called the Miami Device.

So...

The Niven thing is the Slaver Device!

I, on occasion, like the way your mind works.

Too bad that answer's not right. It should be.

Ahhhhhh!

Crap.

If i go to my basement and find it in one of my Niven books can I get the point?

I know that looking it up in the interwebs is frowned upon.

Looking it up at all is frowned upon.

Dredge it up from your memory, Scooter, or no dice.

Too late.

Answers below:

For three points, how many planets are named for Jonathan Archer? For an extra five points, list all of them here.

Two: Archer IV and Archer's Planet

For four points, most Niners are familiar with vedek and kai as Bajoran religious titles, but the series on occasion mentioned a third, which is _____.

Prylar and ranjen would both have been acceptable answers.

T'Pol mentions her age in an episode of Enterprise. For five points, how old is she at that time?[/quote]

Sixty-six.

Next topic: Monarchs and the Realms They Ruled

I'm going to guess 5.

Are we starting to leave our knitting around, Quo? I answered all the remaining questions in the post before yours, dearie.

But, on reflection ... Emissary should count. Points awarded.

I've done this more recently than you've given us a chapter in your FF epic, smart guy.

So don't throw stones. :tomato:

But yeah, I'll get to it by week's end.
