1 Alabama 4-0
On the eye test alone, they look invincible.
2 LSU 4-0
Two best quality wins of the season.
3 Ohio State 4-0
Offense to spare, but they give up points. The winner next week against Penn State possibly jumps into the top spot.
4 Stanford 4-0
Great comeback, but it never should have happened.
5 Clemson 4-0
Not looking quite as impressive as we thought they would.
6 Georgia 4-0
DLs not getting to the QBs.
7 Notre Dame 4-0
Playing zero palookas. The Stanford-Irish winner also has a shot at number one.
8 Kentucky 4-0
Number two behind LSU on the "best pair of wins this year" list.
9 Penn State 4-0
They can prove they're legit only by winning this week.
10 Oklahoma 4-0
Struggling against Army no longer embarrassing.
11 UCF 3-0
Defending champs still rolling.
12 West Virginia 3-0
They can win the Big-12.
13 Auburn 3-1
Right now, the SEC looks loaded.
14 Washington 3-1
If Auburn makes a run, they're still in it.
15 Duke 4-0
Tough and overachieving.
16 BYU 3-1
Something cool about the Coogs.
17 Michigan 3-1
Loss to Notre Dame doesn't look bad right now.
18 Texas Tech 3-1
Put Oklahoma State's invariable ugly loss on them early thie year.
19 Texas 3-1
How did they lose to Maryland again?
20 USF 4-0
Another epic showdown with the national champions?
21 North Carolina State 3-0
Reserving judgment.
22 Wisconsin 3-1
Not as good as we thought.
23 Colorado 3-0
We'll see.
24 California 3-0
We'll see, part two.
25 Syracuse 4-0
25 North Texas 4-0
25 Buffalo 4-0
The three biggest surprises of this young season.
I can't even talk about Rutgers right now.

I have one question. Why do mostly guys love watching sports?
I don't see the point unless I'm in the game and playing myself.

I enjoy listening to music but I do not need to be the one in the band.
There is an inherent excitement to sports and following this team or another can give you a thrill without getting brain damage.

I wouldn't say "inherent," as did lafr, but ... men, in general, are more biologically wired to compete. (Women, in general, are more about reaching an understanding than kicking your ass.) Sports allows men to "go to war" without anyone dying. And then we can do it again next week/tomorrow/right now!
And, please, An-Gel, for future reference: Don't comment in my Top Twenty-Five thread unless you're commenting, you know, about the Top 25? Thank you.
