The captain sits down in her own office chair to do some work.

Hollis reads a report on her monitor (really that's a monitor from which the player can access old missions and replay them).

Sometimes, staring at the stars helps a captain think...

That'll be the last of my STO pictures until I can get my desktop comp fixed, enabling me to play the game again. I coulda sworn I had a bunch more pictures, but I must have either deleted them (like a moron), or they're on the desktop and thus inaccessible.

I realized after I signed off last night that I do have more pictures I can post, mainly of the Black Rose, Journey, Jamie Morgan, and a few pictures of Silmar as I tried different uniforms on him. Might post them later.

Out of curiosity, why the Mirror ENT uniforms? The bared midriff look is....well... not what I'd expect from a Starfleet Captain.

Because I could. And because I wanted to.

After all, women in Starfleet used to wear skirts in which their asses hung out past the hem, so a bare midriff is hardly unbecoming. What does what her uniform looks like have to do with her capabilities as an officer?

Capabilities? None. Perception by others? Everything in the world.

You can dress your character any way you want.... I was only speaking from a more realistic perspective.

Who cares about realistic in a GAME?

No one but you has questioned my choice of uniform, so I daresay you're the only one who has a problem with it. Not to mention the fact that I am hardly the only player in STO who uses that particular style, and I seriously doubt you are writing each and every one that does and telling them that their choice to put their female characters in midriff-baring uniforms damages the way people perceive those characters. As long as I play the game well, I doubt anyone would give a damn if she was wearing a burlap bag.

Time to move on. Think I'll post some more pictures...

Wow, take it slightly more personally.

I don't care what you do or have a problem with it. I simply asked a question.

What part of "Time to move on" was unclear to you? I don't appreciate the fact that you ignored my request to drop the subject.

Besides that, you didn't "just ask a question", you also passed judgment. I take that personally.

The Black Rose with "racing stripes", if you want to call them that. I took them off, of course, and went for the classic Connie look.
