Actually, there is another badge involved, the Intaran equivalent of the FBI:

I suspect the ultimate team leader will be carrying one of these...

May I suggest that the team leader be Intaran? I mean, it is their planet.

That would be an internal Starfleet matter, and thus handled by SCIS.

Better get Gibbs on the case...

Actually, it would be agent aflight aboard either the Kumari or Ernst Ruska. They're the only ships big enough to warrant such an officer (who would most likely also double as chief of security).

Hmm... I never got around to appointing a security chief. I've been using Major Colby as Marine Detachment commander and Chief Tactical Officer. I guess I'd better get my rear in gear.

In fact, this just gave me an idea, John. Remember when I was originally working on ER's crew that I was thinking of using Chuck Norris for the Marine Detachment commander? Well, I was thinking. What do you think about using him for the ER's security chief?

The storyline idea that I have behind his age is that he was retired when the Dominion War started and he returned to duty. His assignment to the Ernst Ruska is his last assignment before retiring again.

Would that work? I was even thinking that he has family aboard with him, one of the few senior officers with dependants aboard. ):( :-k

Yeah, that sounds good.

Of course, the Agent Aflight doesn't NEED to be the security chief...

Well, in this case, I think he should. Especially since Yineth has Colby and his Marines accompany him more on away missions than ship's security.

I shot ya a partial on the fly bio. I hope it works. I cast Chuck Norris but I'm having a little trouble creating a history for him.

Frak, I can't remember which thread you originally posted the jacket in. Anyhoo, here is my version with the 3D commbadge, in red because I wanted to see it that way:
