Oh, crap, Redjac's back! LOL!

That's actually an interesting idea. :-k

In TOT11F, all Marines are in green regardless of specialty, so they'd probably wear the same jacket as the Fleet officers, with green where the Fleeters' red, blue, teal, and yellow are. Fleet Pilots would simply be in red, though starfighter pilots might also have the wings... will have to think on that.

John created a great uniform jacket for my Marines, Cam. You should check it out. They also double as the ship's fighter pilots aboard the Ernst Ruska.

This is true, Cam, but I tend to mix the colors when a marine has a specialty or is part of a specialist unit.

For example, the 716th (embarked aboard the Marshal Martz) wear "reversed colors", their unit having earned the right when they reversed the colors on their fighters during one of the short wars against the Klingons. Since they retained the number when their unit was broken up and retasked, they began wearing the variant uniform as a "throwback" to the fighters they no longer fly (it's now a SpecOps unit).

Thus, members of the 716th now wear green tunics with black undershirts... black also being the color assigned to Special Operations.

Green alone is for the grunts and others who don't have a fleet-equivalent specialty.

I suspect a unit with an illustrious history like the 214th would be able to more or less choose their own uniforms, and I wouldn't be surprised if they used some sort of USMC tans as their duty uniform...

But that's just me.

I actually was thinking of tan shoulders for the jacket and a green collar for the undershirt.

Good points there, John. That is food for thought.

I'll keep that in mind.

I'm thinking about writing a scene where the Ambassador hears about this incident and talks it over with Captain Yineth, the senior Starfleet commander. What do you think, Boss? :-k

Works for me, but I suspect the police part happens before his arrival. He'd definitely be interested in the ramifications of the court part of it, though.

Let me get a little more of it written. You'll have a better idea of where I'd like to take it, then.

Ok, I can go with that. I just thought I'd pitch something while it was on my mind. \Y/
