Joe, seeing as how the show Michelle Yeoh appears in isn't Star Trek I'd say that you should continue to use her and do the actress justice.

I agree with Bry. Besides, without spoiling it for anyone, let's just say that her presence in the first two episodes only helps to set the scene for Burnham's placement aboard Discovery. Any other appearances by Michelle Yeoh will definitely be in flashbacks.
So keep Ms. Yeoh as T'Vaar. She makes a great actress to portray a Vulcan.
