Sonequa Martin-Green, who stars as Michael on Star Trek: Discovery, said during a recent interview, "You can't love Star Trek and think diversity sucks."
I get the sense she's attempting to dismiss any who dislike the series as backward-thinking and perhaps racist, using logic containing holes we could drive her captain's pet macro-tardigrade through.
From what I've seen so far, this is Trek for the morally-bankrupt ADHD generation.
