I've actually moved on to the Herman Cain (first name that came to mind, and I'd have to pay to change it), a modified Cheyenne class cruiser.
I'll get a new ship when I make captain.

Re: I've taken the plunge...
Have you looked under Games, specifically your Cryptic Studios folder, for screenshots? I know that when I would hit the Print Screen button, all my screencaps would get sent automatically to a folder designated "screenshots". It's also a part of the setup process, I think, that you can have screencaps sent directly to a folder you designate, but don't quote me on that.
Man, I so wish I had a job. I can't play STO on my laptop and my desktop (which I can play the game on) is still without a functioning screen. If I had a job, after catching up on my bills I'd be getting the damn desktop looked at. It's a bigger and better screen for manipping, and I can frickin' play games on it. Not only am I missing out on STO, but I'm missing out on Star Wars: The Old Republic, too!!

Found a few in the "Public" folder. I'll have to take some updated ones.

Here's my character, Captain Amy C. Harris, currently commanding the USS Tokugawa Ieyasu:

Yeah, she's a bit chunky. She inherited her father's Cyrano Jones Disease along with his brown hair.
She's made it to the Cardassian campaign:

And this is her current ship, the modified Galaxy-class USS Tokugawa Ieyasu, at Deep Space Nine:

Nice images, John. Loving Amy and her ship! Great work, Admiral, sir!

She'll get a new ship (likely a Sovereign variant) shortly. She's close to her first star.

Re: I've taken the plunge...
Here's Amy's new ship, the USS Thy'lek Shran (thanks to Triton for the idea):

And Amy snaps a smart salute during her promotion ceremony:

And here she is relaxing on Earth Spacedock just after:

(Yes, I reversed the colors on the shoulders and collar to set it apart from the rest of the crew's uniforms. I consider it an admiral's uniform.)

Re: I've taken the plunge...
I'm unfamiliar with STO ship designs. What class is the Shran?
And you know, in the future, we should plan for Admiral Amy Harris to make a visit to Intar. Maybe some temporal oopsit happens? Something we can blame on one of my captains?
"On your promotion," Ikar said, smiling up at her," congratulate you, I do. Your father, happy, he would be, I believe."
Sorry, I hope my in-character line is ok.

Including the word "be" somewhere in there would have helped.captainuniverse wrote:Sorry, I hope my in-character line is ok.

Re: I've taken the plunge...
Agreed, though should be "he would be".
And I can just see her answer: "Oh, he is... but it's not easy being the Fleet Admiral's daughter."
And the Shran is an Emissary class star cruiser (one step up from a Sovereign class ship) with Vanguard class pylons.
The green tint comes from the prototype Reman shields.

Just so you know, once you hit Vice Admiral, you get a real Admiral's Uniform. I should really post new images of my crew/uniforms.
I'm currently flying in a Galaxy-X Dreadnought, Venture-variant.
Though.... I have a LOT of ships lol

Yeah, I've got a fair number, myself, including two empty slots and a runabout named after my dear, departed mother.
As I tend to get new ships, I'll strip the tech from the old one until I find something better.
And right now, I would sell my soul for an Entertainer Duty Officer. That's the ONE thing I'm missing from the "entertain guests" assignment.

Re: I've taken the plunge...
That's what I want to know. They seem to be the rarest of the rare when it comes to duty officers.
For the "Entertain Foreign Dignitaries" assignment, you need:
5,000 power points
An Advisor, Counselor or Diplomat
A Security Officer (any type)
A Bartender
A Chef
and an Entertainer.
I have all except the last one.![Pulls Hair ]]:0](./images/smilies/102.gif)
