Nice! It definitely shows the cooperation of a joint police task force.

I don't know. There was blood in my eyes and I had a shooting pain in my stomach from the phaser hit. I think it could have been a Jedi hater.

And here's a better look at the logo alone:

(Had to upload it as a .png because the .jpg kept being resized by Photobucket.)

Here's the "opening" for the story.
Try not to read it in Steven Zirnkilton's voice.
Try not to read it in Steven Zirnkilton's voice.

In the years since First Contact,
crimes by and against non-Intarans have become a minor,
yet politically-charged issue.
With the coming of the Federation,
an elite unit of Starfleet, Military and Civilian Security forces has been formed
to investigate these crimes wherever they occur within the Intar system.
This is the first of their stories.

And that's when you hear the 'Law & Order' clicking sound.

And here's the motorcycle jacket, as worn by the Citadel Police members of the Alien Investigations Squad:

Nice jacket, John. I like the badge.

Here's a closeup. The center contains the badge number. I don't think there are any variations (unlike most US cities, which issue different badges to detectives/sergeants/etc.), but I may change that later.

Wow, I really like the alien language that you've created here, John. Let's hope Ikar never gets in trouble with the CPD. They don't have a cell small enough for her. LOL!
