There needs to be a word invented for this kind of accomplishment. Deccomplishment perhaps?

Still the best Bond movie in years.

I'd go with Goldeneye. Then, again, that was quite a while ago, wasn't it?

Indeed. So then, perhaps...the best since Goldeneye and there wasn't a truly good one for awhile prior to that.

I liked The Living Daylights, too ... but not a single Roger Moore film passes muster for me.

I agree.
Casino Royale did reignite my interest in the franchise though.

Judge Dredd, or as I like to call it Judge Dredd(ful). The entire story was weak in my opinion, why did'nt they adapt a story involving The Dark Judges and Psi-Judge Anderson? I accept they had to change the bikes to make them work in 'real' life, but to make them fly was a mistake. The script sucked as well. I know in the comics Dredd says "I am the law" quite a bit they could've at least tried to give him some depth. Liked the ABC robot and Judge Hershey though.

No it doesn't. The invisible car was an abomination under Bond.

Thunderbirds 2004.
Yeah they managed to update the look of the ships whilst staying true to the original designs, but everything else was wrong. They gave in to a product placement/marketing gimmick thus ruining Lady P's iconic car and meaning that all the other vehicles had a massive Ford badge on the front.
I also imagine that a lot of people who had either seen the series when it was first broadcast in the 60's or (like me) watched the episodes on re-runs was disappointed that most of the Tracy Brothers were stranded on TB 5 for the majority of the film which left the youngest brother and assorted support characters offspring as the focus of the film. Speaking personally, I never really noticed what age the Tracy Brothers were when watching the show on TV and it was probably never mentioned, but the producers obviously thought 'kids show means kid heroes'. It could be argued that the ships were the stars of the show, but without the humans to operate them they are useless.
The only high point was Sophia Myles as Lady Penelope. I did'nt feel nearly as weird having a crush on a human being
